Welcome Anita Flores!

We are pleased to introduce Anita Flores as Comprehensive Healthcare’s new Director of Human Resources. With over 25 years of experience working in HR, Anita brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role, and we are so excited to have her on board.

Anita’s experience working in human resources began in a fruit warehouse, where she was employed as an HR assistant for the company. Following her time in that role, she steadily climbed the ranks as she moved into new roles of manager, director, and even vice president and chief overseeing human resources at various organizations. Her career has been shaped by both hands-on experience and a deep commitment to supporting employees and strengthening workplace culture.

The opportunity for a new challenge in a larger organization drew Anita to apply for the role here at Comprehensive Healthcare. “I figured it was time for something different,” Anita shared. “And I wanted to come back to healthcare. I worked in healthcare before, and I loved it.” Throughout her career, Anita has made investing in others a priority. She shared one of her proudest accomplishments: mentoring a high school intern who joined her HR department as part of a senior project. “We gave her the opportunity and ended up hiring her after she graduated. She stayed with us for 10 years and is now an HR professional in the field. Being able to mentor and coach her to grow was amazing.”

Anita is passionate about her work and the HR profession as a whole because of the diversity it offers. “There’s never a dull moment,” she shared. “There’s always something going on—whether good or bad, HR keeps you on your toes.” She’s excited to bring that energy and dedication to her new role at Comprehensive Healthcare.

As she gets settled, Anita is focused on learning how things are done within the organization and contributing wherever she can. “I don’t plan on changing anything unless it’s something that needs to be fixed. I plan to utilize the resources, policies, and procedures we have in place to assist.”

Although she describes herself as a homebody outside of work, Anita is eager to connect with staff and leadership across the agency. “I’m just happy to be here. I’m excited to see what the future holds and to move forward.”
