Welcome, Lisa Richards!
Comprehensive Healthcare is pleased to welcome Lisa Richards as the new Program Manager for Wellness Now Clinic, our walk-in clinic dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate care to the community.
Lisa brings an extensive background in healthcare leadership, with experience focused on patient access, operations, referrals, and supporting high-performing teams in fast-paced medical environments. Prior to joining Comprehensive Healthcare, she worked with MultiCare, Yakima Memorial Hospital and Sundown M Ranch. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and later completed her MBA in healthcare management.
What drew Lisa to the Wellness Now Clinic was the opportunity to be part of a mission-driven program that helps fill critical gaps in care. “The Wellness Now Clinic fills such an important gap by offering accessible care and meeting people where they are, often during very vulnerable moments in life,” she shared. “I was especially excited about the chance to support both staff and clients in an environment that values compassion, accessibility and whole-person care,” adds Lisa.
Since stepping into the role, Lisa says her first weeks have been both energizing and inspiring. She has been impressed by the dedication and heart the clinic staff bring to their work each day and is excited to continue learning more about the needs of the clients served through the program. Looking ahead, she hopes to help increase community awareness of the clinic’s services while also supporting staff workflows, communication and sustainable processes that help prevent burnout and support excellent client care.
A lifelong Yakima Valley resident, Lisa says she values the area’s strong sense of community and the resilience of the people who call Central Washington home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her daughters and her first grandchild. Her hobbies include health and wellness activities, landscaping, home projects, organizing spaces, walking and cross training. She also believes that “resilience and a little laughter go a long way.”
“I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to have joined Comprehensive Healthcare,” says Lisa. “I’m excited to continue learning, building relationships, and supporting both our staff and clients however I can as we continue to grow and expand our services.”
Please join us in welcoming Lisa to Comprehensive Healthcare and the Wellness Now Clinic team!
