Celebrating Growth in Nursing Leadership: Chelsea Williams Promoted to Director of Nursing
We are excited to announce the promotion of Chelsea from Nurse Manager to Director of Nursing!
Throughout her time as Nurse Manager, Chelsea has demonstrated strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a genuine commitment to supporting our nursing teams. She has taken on increasing responsibility, helped strengthen nursing operations across programs, and built strong relationships with staff and leaders throughout the organization. This promotion recognizes both the impact she has already made and our confidence in her continued leadership.
This change also reflects the leadership structure outlined in our recent organizational realignment. As previously shared, the decision to eliminate certain Division Chief roles, including the Division Chief of Nursing, was intended to simplify leadership layers and create greater clarity around decision-making and accountability. It was not a reduction in the importance of nursing leadership, but an opportunity to reshape how that leadership is positioned within the organization.
The Director of Nursing role represents that intentional redesign. Rather than recreating the former Division Chief structure, this role places nursing leadership within a clearer and more standardized framework, closely connected to the programs, teams, and operations it supports.
Just as importantly, this promotion reflects something we want to continue fostering across our organization: opportunities for our people to grow, take on new challenges, and advance as the organization evolves. Chelsea’s journey from Nurse Manager to Director of Nursing is a great example of how organizational change can also create new opportunities for talented leaders to step forward and grow.
We are excited for this next chapter in nursing leadership and for the experience, energy, and commitment Chelsea will bring to the Director of Nursing role.
Please join us in congratulating her on this exciting and well-deserved promotion!
